Emeobong “Eme” Martin, MPH

Emeobong “Eme” Martin, MPH is the Regional Director for Health Systems with the Alzheimer’s Association. In her role, she is responsible for building strategic partnerships with the top 25 healthcare systems throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. In addition to regional health system engagement, Eme leads the partnership strategy with the Veterans Health Administration for the Association. Focusing on timely and early detection, she assists health systems with customizing practices best suited for their patient populations.

She is passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable populations and considers herself a health equity cheerleader, applying a health equity lens to her work through partnership development with diverse organizations and expertise, including as a consultant with UFacilitate. 

A 2016 recipient of the National Minority Quality Forum’s 40 Under 40 Leader in Health Award, Eme has over a decade of experience working in healthcare organizations, serving in various positions in community health, health equity, and provider education and training at MedStar Health and Adventist HealthCare both located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
